Hello guys,
Well, here we go again. This time the alleged scam comes via text message on my cell phone. Apparently, the USPS (United States Post Office) has rescheduled "my parcel". Very strange, because I haven't ordered anything via USPS in weeks!
Text: "USPS: the scheduled delivery for the parcel 1z36027 got changed. Please confirm here: x3fov.info/CXc35bdvtv"
Parcel No. 1z36027
Link: x3fov.info/CXc35bdvtv
I called the phone number, and it said the voice box wasn't setup to take messages. I didn't open the link because my anti-virus said it was suspicious. However, I went to the official USPS tracking website, and punched in the dummy numbers, and got the expected result - invalid number. Maybe, the experts here setup with scambaiting can dig a little deeper into this one. Thanks again guys! :)
