Today I received a cold call from 561-725-3054, from a Filipino-sounding lady claiming I had viruses on my system and she wanted to clean them up. A first call went to my voicemail: http://chirb.it/eeBhys. I followed the instructions, Anydesk was used, her Anydesk ID 268267763. Her name showed as “Camille Lopez” but is most likely an alias.
She showed me all the bogus “scans”, e.g. stopped services:
For the payment, she guided me to usglobaltech.com which seemed to be their website. She was very pushy, trying to make me pay.
