Hey everyone! i’ve been noticing more and more scammers are asking for your phone number to call you back. i’m using bobrtc so when they call back it won’t work, i’ve heard textnow.com is a great way to get around this, but the thing is, it’s not available in my country, so i thought ‘no problem, just have to connect to US using my vpn’, but even connecting to a vpn won’t work, even if it says im located in US, Textnow still does not allow me to register or even use the service, one amazing guy even sent me his text now credentials but his account later got banned because i tried logging in, it’s ridiculous and i really can’t scambait properly if i don’t want find a way around this issue! for any international viewers that have experienced the same but have found a way to get around this, please message me or something! i’d appreciate it so much!
Im gonna buy like 200 numbers and cycle them soon. THe setup fee is high but maintaining them is sub 30 cents a month
@0xNull_effort#122967 I find that by using the textnow app on an android device and signing into textnow using a google account works fine outside of USA. You can then change the email address and create a password and use the account on another device without using the original google account to sign in. Then you can repeat using a different google account on your android device to create another textnow account on the app. Keep repeating until you have enough textnow accounts
I was having the same issue what VPN are You using I was using proton VPN if you want me to make you a TextNow just reply just reply to this and I will

We’re also working on BobRTC to allow you to post your TextNow number as your caller ID; that way you can switch that on/off on a call, so when a scammer says they want to call you back they’ll ring your TextNow number.
@kenzo#123005 That sounds awesome! Although sadly i still am unable to register on TextNow, i’ll figure it out somehow! I am going to waste these scammers time whatever way i can! There is always a way lmao
