Extra Info: This tech scam is unusual in my experience as the scammer asks for a real email (which I have for just such occasions) and he sends a link to use Zoho Assist, another first for me, to connect to the computer, whereupon he tries to upsell technical service. You’ll not he gets all confused when I query regarding whether to get service on one or more computers and he can’t even call up the calculator on my VM. (It’s a Linux distro.) I pretended the email link did not work so he tried a different way using Google Chrome, better for me, as I could then operate better in the VM. When we finally got down to entering the CC information, I feigned a pill emergency and then a heart attack to see what he would do, if I was no longer present. That’s part 2 which has no sound, only a recording of what he does and the chat that ensues with a second fictitious person (me, also.)

This is Part 2. You will need to turn your sound down as there is some loud background noise and no talking anyway. At the end of the 1st video, I hung up the call just before entering the CC information and then with this one pretended to be a different person concerned because the original caller was having a heart attack. I wanted to see what the scammer would do if no one was present. (I was using Linux in a VM so no harm) and I recorded his chat. Clearly he was trying to get someone, anyone to put in a CC number to get money, heart attack or not.
