This has been making the rounds lately, but I’ve not been able to figure out exactly what it is they are trying to get. I called the number and punched in some phone numbers, and got no joy. Then for grins I punched in 800-555-1212 and bang - it came back as referenced to one Mr. “Curtis Williams”. So I played along and got a case ID of 208058. Called back and tried using that case ID number, and it wanted the last two of my social. Nothing I put in worked. I also tried the case # + 1 (208059) and it came back as valid but with a different name - and the last two of the social would not work for that one either. Not sure what to make of this… appears to be a scam, but I’m not sure for what?
