Unique scam help, real cell phone being used

Scam Number: Not sure about posting real cellphone numbers.
Scammer’s Website or Email: None.
Additional information about this scam: I received a text today, from a scammer. He is running a PCH scam, he is Nigerian so that is a new one. Another unique aspect is that he is using a real cellphone provider. It is a T-Mobile number, I figured I would go along with it but he is now trying to vet me. He insists that I send him my ID and then he will ‘help’ me receive my winnings. So he will only scam me after I send an ID.

I need to ask for the policy about posting a phone number from a real cell carrier. Let me know or if you want to suggest what I can do to bait him? I don’t have an ID to send him :frowning:

I have seen a few PCH scams from Nigeria they are also yahoo boys setting up the scams I’ll bait the number if you want to send it to me

I do not believe there is a policy against posting a scammer’s number just because it is a mobile phone. I hope not - I’ve posted them.

I have dozens of TextNow numbers used by call centres as main inbounds, which scammers have decided to keep for their personal cell numbers.

I call them all day to keep them awake while they’re trying to sleep.
They have no option but to turn the number off so they can get a wink of shut eye
If they’re too cheap like millions of others using this crap to pay for a proper number, they deserve what they get

Some of us scambaiters do have fake IDs
We can easily grabify his location
