Tired of being unable to use TextNow while outside of the US? Is BobRTC being a dick to you? The fear not, Skype is here for your scambait attempts!
What you will need:
1. A Skype client on your PC or an installed copy of the Skype app on your mobile device
2. A Microsoft account in order to use Skype, if you do not have one register here: https://account.microsoft.com and click on 'Create a Microsoft account' (I recommend you to use an alternative account or create a new one from scratch with fake info in order to mask your information)
What you will really need to make your scambaits effective:
1. A fake identity (head to https://fakenamegenerator.com or search on Google, there are plenty of sites to support that)
2. A fake phone number for a fake Caller ID. REMINDER: A fake generated number WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RECEIVE SMS due to Skype will actually ask for a verification code every time you add another Caller ID. To do this simply search for 'receive sms online' on Google, there are plenty of sites available)
After your account creation, just head to the front page of this site or head to the BobRTC Phonebook to search for numbers.
All Skype calls to US toll-free numbers are COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE. For UK numbers, you will have to pay with Skype Credit every minute you call. However, calls to the UK are very cheap, and just $0.023/minute, that is $1.38 for an hour of wasting the scammers' time!
That is my suggestion for an RTC alternative to TextNow and BobRTC. I would also recommend Google Voice, but I haven't tried it yet because it's not available in my country, which is pretty disappointing because I want to test it out. By the way, I'm open for any suggestions and alternatives, because people have the rights to make choices, right?
