Extra Info: Ulysses S Grant calls looking for tech support and gets a gift card scammer instead. Apparently, their system has no clue how to deal with Rural Route #s. She, ostensibly in Orlando, FL, has never heard of RR 1. Ulysses even mentioned the intersection where the farm is located and his neighbors: Jefferson Davis, William Seward, Alexander Stephens, and John Wilkes Booth, an eclectic bunch of neighbors. She was really quite rude in the beginning, and I had to tamp that down a bit. But they must have gone into a long huddle over what to do with the RR 1 address. (That’s all we had for years when we lived on the farm.)
The number on BobRTC was listed as tech support scam, but I’m happy to oblige the gift card folks.
