“Megan from Anne Jagger Recruitment”. Part time/Full time Tells you that you only need 30-60 minutes a day and you’ll earn an income of £50-120 daily. Claims no experience needed, a specialist will apparently provide training and also claims it’s flexible hours + work from home. Tells you the only alleged requirements are to be a UK/PR Citizen, have a bank account and be 20 or above. Asks if it’s okay for the “person in charge” to contact you.

If you say yes, you will be contacted from +44 (0)7429-125123 . The person claims to be called “Dana”, they will tell you it’s supposedly a “freelance job”. They will then tell you apparently their “job is to increase the popularity of global hotels on the Hotels Platform, create good star ratings, and allow more travelers to book hotels around the world online”. They will also put forward a claim, trying to make you believe, that the “platform has a good algorithm system, and it only takes 1 hour a day to complete the daily workload of data optimization for 80 hotels. The 80 hotel data are divided into 2 groups, with 40 hotel data in each group. The data will be automatically generated and uploaded, and we earn commissions from it after the upload is successful.” They will continue to message the victim telling them the salary is based on basic salary + commission and that you will supposedly be earning $100-3000 in commission for completing the required amount of work in one day and then After completing 2 sets of tasks every day, you can contact customer service to sign in on the working day - Receive a basic salary of $800 for 5 consecutive days, Receive a base salary of $3,000 for 14 consecutive days, Get a base salary of $6,000 for 30 consecutive days (Commission will be settled on the same day). “Dana” will then proceed to send you a “working link” to register for a “work account” with a referral code. Claims you get $15 for free, just for signing up. Will ask you to message them back once you have completed the sign up process.

In contact with Hotels.com over twitter.

Expedia are useless, out the blue, they contacted me directly offering assistance - I was confused as to what it had to do with them. Neither company read my tweet properly however as previously they kept asking for an itinerary number although I said I didn’t have one, as I said how I was trying to urgently report a scam, not that I had booked a flight and had issues or anything like that. In the end, Expedia seriouslyyy didn’t read my tweet properly, because as soon as I mentioned Hotels.com directly in DM’s they told me to contact them directly actually. Fucking idiots. What did this have to do with them???
