Hello all, had a relative almost scammed. Apparently was heading to Tesco to get ‘google cards’ worth £1000. Due to the recent events in their life, (this are old people, roughly 70 in age) the scammer didn’t care that the husband had died and scare mongered my relative via saying they had an arrest warrant and could go to jail for 7 years. For people like this, they are extremely vulnerable.
Unfortunately, I'm not exactly a scam expert so if anyone could look into this number I would appreciate it. It's the number the relative was told to call back and apparently registered to Frontier Communications. The relative was very nearly almost scammed but called me and sounded like was about to have a heart attack, considering the age she could well of have, showing just how inconsiderate and scummy scammers are.
