They have sent out a message about the purchase of a Lenovo laptop worth £977.69
They answer as Ebay fraud department or Ebay customer services
They will demand remote access to your device
I just spoke to someone called Patel. They told me their sad story of working in a call center for very little money. They said they love what I’m doing as a scam baiter and so forth. He realizes it’s a scam but wasn’t told; they think they are actually helping customers. He also told me he is trying to earn to become an “IT Officer” as he needs to pay for school. The call abruptly ended, so I guess they caught him telling me about the scam.

secondly, don’t believe a word that comes out of their sorry, lying little scumbag mouths 
We hear the same story all the time, any decent human being would leave and not return as soon as they realise what’s going on.
Giving him the tiny benefit of the doubt though, he did give you an Indian name, I still think he’s probably a scumbag but it’s worth trying to nurture a relationship if possible.

But I don’t believe he would lie about that, he didn’t ask for anything in return, nor did he give me any contact information. He just told me about the scam and how the call center operates before abruptly ending the call, I don’t really see any benefit in lying unless he is attention-seeking.
like I said, I give him a tiny benefit of the doubt, just be aware that they are like teenagers, you can tell when they are lying, their mouths are moving. 
I have had a few who have tried to redeem themselves by giving me some victim information and sometimes even sending me ‘scam in progress’ numbers so it’s worthwhile having those conversations, occasionally they are for real.
