Called saying they are Carphone Warehouse (a UK phone shop) and have a promotion to give. Also pretending to be O2/EE (from a quick google search).

O2 and EE are like Verizon and T Mobile - mobile service providers.

They seem to be a legitimate company, but they don’t care about scammers using their services I guess
They are a registered UK company in Wales (NET-WORK INTERNET LTD overview - Find and update company information - GOV.UK) that started in 1999. Since the number is from Scotland, they must be registering numbers from different UK countries.
