So far I’ve made the initial contact, gotten referred to Janet Louise Yellen who then referred me to Merrick Garland. They are slow and fairly boring so far but we’ll see where it goes.

Heard back from none other than Attorney General Merrick Garland and he provide me with the details to send the payment to a mule.
Sent an email. Waiting on a response.

I sent all that except bank info because I just don’t trust banks. “She” then referred me on to “Merrick Garland” who instructed me to send $950 to a money mule here in the US.

Any suggestions on the best way to report a money mule? If they’re an actual victim of sort I’d like to get them out of this situation but if they’re a knowing participant I’d like them stopped.
I’m not sure - maybe mail them and tell them that they’re working for a scammer? Or send the police to the location and send them a USPS tracking number for “$950 money order.”

That’s the number I got for Janet as well.
I just asked “Is there another way I can pay? Credit card? Check? Domestic wire transfer?” and BOOM! He sent me the bank account details.
