Hey folks, a few days ago I learned something new in CJ’s twitch stream. Some victim had a popup open that couldn’t be closed as it wasn’t a standard browser popup (or website to be correct) as I know of - for example: German 🇩🇪 Microsoft tech support - #5 by roferquiroz
So what types of popups are these? How do they work? Would love to know more about it. Thanks!
Their PC probably has some kind of an adware/malware that sends fake pop-ups. The only way could be to restart the PC. This isn’t new. Scammers might get victims to install some kind of malware that sends fake pop-ups which could also be a fake AV
Does anyone have such a file by chance and could send it to me? I don’t wanna try every setup.exe I come across while browsing.
