I’ve been baiting whiskey scammers on Twitter/IG for bit. Accounts get reported and taken down with some success but I feel it’s putting my finger on a leaking dam since they pop up again and again usually with just a slight adjustment to their handle.
I’ve been toying with the idea of going directly after them on their posts with something like ‘We know you are a scammer. Stop immediately. We know more then you think you do. You will be exposed and reported to law enforcement’ I’m not sure that will scare them, slow down their scams because they’ll need to be more careful or it won’t do anything. I’ve gotten a ton of bank accounts from them so if they get scared that could slow down getting accounts and make them super cautious.
I know these are low level type scams for little money and I’m at a bit of a quandary on the best tactic to fight these guys.
Any advice would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
