I like to see this type of attention to what’s going on, well done indeed!
I virtually cannot dial a real company number, as I’ve spent many hours over the years programming my dialers and databases to either not call those numbers, or if I enter a real number into my database, it immediately alerts me that the scamming shitheads have spoofed a real number back at me (for the ten thousandth time)

thanks man, I called the number and it sounded suspiciously real so I looked it up on google and sure enough it lead to the real support webpage of apple
Scammer do it more often than a lot of people realize.
Sometimes it’s to lend legitimacy to their bullshit, but mostly it’s to be malicious
I’ve had them spoofing the FTC Washington DC office, also the FBI, the Whitehouse switchboard and just about every local sheriff or police station and FBI field office number back at me.
The have absolutely [size=1]fuck all[/size] chance of me ringing any of those numbers and blindly start raging at them or flood them with calls.
