So I got two calls back to back from these guys yesterday. One was to my real phone number, and the other was to my text now. When I tried to call them back and reach a person just shortly afterwards a recording told me that they were closed.
So I called them back this morning and spoke to a lady who did not know when the company was founded, where the corporate office was, or who the CEO was. She just kept asking to transfer me to the sales department. She did at least know a website:

She transfers me to sales, and I asked them the same questions. The salesman said he didn’t know who the CEO was either because they are a massive organization with over 300 people in a call center and that the knowledge of the CEO is above his pay grade. He also said he makes 14 dollars an hour. I have never heard of a company being okay with their workers telling folks their pay. Claimed to be from Wisconsin and he didn’t sound anything like it. Claimed his voice has to be changed because he works in radio. Tried to assure that it wasn’t a scam, but needed info to place me on a do not call list. He couldn’t do so without my information.
It is possible I spoke to two people who are dumb as a box of rocks, but everything about this seems to be out of place.
How would you not know where the company is based out of?
How would not know the CEO because the organization is so massive?
How would you not know when you were founded?
Why in the name of all that is holy does a lawn care service provider need 300 people working in a call center?
I could be very wrong about these guys, but this just seems very strange. Anyone know about these guys?
