Anyone know how to get the ip for gotoassist, i watched how to get ip from teamveiwer, but now they switched to gotoassist cause it seems like a proxy, if we get ips from them, we can report them to their internet providers and shut them down. watched a few videos on how to set everything up to troll them, and this is what i got : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrdb5_lM8pA&feature=youtu.be

Pretty sure you can’t if the scammer uses GoToAssist. But typically you can check IP with WireShark if the scammer uses TeamViewer
Yes like mentioned, you cannot access the scammers IP address throughout GoTOAssist. However you could send them a rat through the file transfer option. Once they open the file through their computer, then you can access their IP address. You can also do much more once ratting a person: you could access their pc without the victim knowing, watching and controling their screen, see their webcam and hear through the mic, send fake popups/alerts, turn pc on/off/reboot etc. You can do more than see their IP once ratting someone. But be careful who you rat, someone like be a tech savage and find your IP and do worse to you like wipe your data. But that is unlikely as scammers are idiotic.
I agree your in a tricky situation when it comes to ratting a scammer now as most have an AV or at least knowledge not a open a random file.
