I could hear what sounded like the textnow bleeping going off, thinking maybe someone else was calling him at the same time. He answered, but wouldn’t actually talk. Could then he ringing in the background for a split second before the call dropped!

That’s the new system working. We people in the telecom world love moments like this even though it’s 20 years behind in time. More scammer’s using Zoom-based apps now. " Sorry, the number you’ve dialed can’t be reached" Classic message from Stir/Shaken Call Blocking. It will start happening to anyone using scripts to dial out soon. Watch out how you dial. Don’t flood or even hand flood They will block your ASN and boom done.
