yes, flightbookdesk.com is a scam fronting to get your credit cards and resell you the same flights already purchased with lies and stories like “your flight has been canceled”, I had to block my credit card today due this guys that answered the phone as DELTA airlines… Indians in Delhi for sure, some “ROBERT” from (Reservations Desk) with this Toll-free number (24/7) : 877-363-1120 reached me, a scammers call center.

Yes, my wife and I were scammed out of $7500 on tickets to and from Italy in Oct/Nov 2024 when we were elaborately pressured to buy new tickets at the last minute, but they were fraudulent tickets. These scammers are definitely based in India, though they say they are based in New Jersey, and when pushed they use an agency name of “Travel TXS”. They used emails that end with @flightbookdesk.com and @reservationsdesk.org, and sometimes these names have spelling errors. Their phone numbers included 800-880-8132, 844-986-3670, 833-785-6480 and 833-731-1394. We received information they changed their numbers in November to 844-763-0104, 844-518-0330, 866-399-2362 and 877-356-1796.

I was also scammed by flightbookdesk.com and flight-bookdesk.com posing as Expedia. I got taken for almost $1,800 in November 2024. The number referenced above, 1-844-763-0104 is the number they got me through. I ended up with a phone number somehow, I still can’t figure out how, because Expedia’s name change form on their legitimate website doesn’t work - the incorrect and correct name fields don’t allow you to enter a name. I have no idea how I ended up with the 844 number, but I know now it isn’t expedia. The charges show up as Air Tickets, registered to Aerospace Travel and Technology.

It was very elaborate - they actually managed to legitimately change the name on my Expedia / Delta flight. I should have known better than to give me credit card number, but I was so stressed out between a lawsuit I am involved in (not scam related) and the last second international flight planning that I ignored the voice in my head that wondered why they needed my card number if it’s stored on their website.

I have disputed this with my credit card company because I have emails from both of the above websites in which they use Expedia branding and images and subjects claiming to be Expedia.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, my card number had to be reported stolen in December 2024 as someone tried to make fraudulent charges on it at 3 AM in the morning a few days before Christmas.

I am in a similar situation. I was working with Expedia to use a flight credit from a previous booking. An Expedia rep suggested I contact the airline directly so I searched for the airline number and found one to call. I thought I was working with the airline reservations and they suggested I get a refund since we were having trouble rebooking. The booking was non-refundable so I thought I had a good opportunity to recuperate some of the money. They asked for $4375 up front to release the reservations and get the refund. I would get at least $1900 back from the original flight.

Afterwards, I checked back with Expedia and they were able to make the change using the original flight as a credit. I tried to get the refund request cancelled but Travel TXS said they had refunded me although I was using the credit. I disputed with the credit card but they just said I was responsible due to the Terms and Conditions. Travel TXS will not refund the fee charged.

Not sure what else I can do.
