This one is kinda strange, not exactly sure of their tactics.
I’m not sure if it was for the sake of sounding real, but i was pressing him on booking a flight (he said he was with united airlines) and he told me that the ticket prices were already discounted on the website. I asked him to confirm the website (hoping i could poke around on their domain) and he gave me the official United airlines website. He then went to mention that if i didn’t want to book on the website and instead over the phone that there would be a $25 dollar fee.
if anyone finds a website for these guys please loop me in.
seems like this is strictly an over the phone scam convincing people that they’ve made their travel reservations.
That’s pretty fucked up, especially this time of year.
