They cannot be trusted, you should use trusted software such as Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Kaspersky, etc. All of these programs perform exceptionally well.
Do not believe the thousands of reviews, and many misleading spam websites which advertise this product as the #1 antivirus, they are paying people to promote their garbage software & as you can see, searching for other Antivirus software will show advertisements to TotalAV.
