Extra Info: a roommate of mine had told me that someone was calling his phone, and apparently they were threatening to arrest him, when i answered, they said “county department of (ABC?)”

. Is that a bot or your real voice? Also I’ve been trying to record upload recorded calls here of conversations between me and scammers, but I don’t know how. Is there a way to do it?

I split up the dialog into different voice files (each sentence was a different voice file) and used a Asterisk script detect noise threshold and play the next voice file when noise is below a certain threshold. (aka when the scammer stops talking) As you could hear in the recording the scammer paused for a long time and that triggered the next voice line and cut off the scammer talking.
