This is hilarious. My phone identified the scam and blocked it, but I was interested so I called back. The call was “THE FRAUD CENTER”… .which was hilarious because it probably WAS the fraud center ready to take your money.
Called the number and entered in some bogus info the IVR. I was then transferred to a rep that was able to provide me with the following information.
She game the company of JACK HENERY
Website = https://www.jackhenry.com/
She asked me to contact my banking institution to verify that this is a legit company. Hung up and called the number that’s listed on JackHenry.com website and spoke to someone that said they do have a fraud center, and provided me the number to that fraud center. The Number he provided me was 8886852265, and when I called that it went to a savings line.
So I called the company back to verify the number they gave me was correct, and it was. Press one to claim your Mother Fucking WalMart Gift Card!
Someone might want to do a bit more research on these numbers.
EDIT: If you do a search of the OP Number, it will show up on multiple bank websites and credit unions.
