Guys, use this app called NextPlus to scambait. It’s available on iOS and Android. It lets you change your number as many times as you want for free. And changing your number is very important while scambaiting because if you call with one number then the scammers will eventually block it and that just ends the fun. But if you keep changing it, it’s impossible for them to block your number because you’ll keep changing it, and the calls will keep on coming. There are the glitches that I’ve come across while using this app but I’ve found ways to fix all of them. The first one is when you’ve changed your number a certain number of times, it says something like “Oops, something went wrong. Please check your connection and try again.” And my connection was fine and it kept saying that over and over again. So, what you want to do is sign out, and then make a new account. It might still be fixed just by logging back in to the same account. I don’t know, I haven’t tried that. There are three other glitches and they all have the same solution as the previous one. One is this guy saying “Uh oh, there’s been a kerfluffle in the call factory.” Another one is this lady saying “You currently have a call in progress, please hang up and try again.” The last one is when you make a call, it just doen’t ring. I meant to say “four glitches”, not “the glitches”.
Nope. Doesn’t work. I have another Nextplus/Textplus acccount and I can log in w/o issue. This one where it says “oops” something is wrong won’t allow me to obtain a number. It sucks also because I have credits on the account. I tried different area codes and states. Still nothing.
Everything was fine up until about a month ago.
