TL/DR, since I know this is kinda grey-area:
- I received an unwanted text message at 10:47 AM EST on Friday, January 23, 2026.
- The text message I received falsely claimed there was a “payout” waiting for me after I was involved in an injury that never really took place.
- The hyperlink takes me to a website asking for me to join a “waitlist” for “class action eligibility,” which also requires me to give consent into receiving marketing communications, despite my number being on the do-not-call registry.
- All of the calls made to their Twilio number go to voicemail.

- If you click on the number listed in their footer, you will instead be asked to call the Bandwidth.com number (833) 698-4184, which doesn’t appear to be in service.
- The listed address on their webpage is different from the address listed on their ZoomInfo page, which could indicate a possible impersonator.

I received this unwanted text message earlier this morning, falsely claiming I was entitled to a payout for a nonexistent injury I never had. When I clicked the link on my computer, I was redirected to a website that appears to be operated by Sonn & Erez, PLC, where I was asked to “check for class action eligibility.”
However, there were no active class action cases listed, as I was instead asked to provide my name, phone number and email address to join their “waitlist,” and I was also required give consent into receiving unwanted marketing communications, even if my number is on the national do-not-call registry.
Sonn & Erez, PLC is listed on the website as operating out of 21 S Evergreen Suite 200 Arlington Heights, IL 60005 United States, which from what I’ve seen on Google Maps appears to be a generic office center. This address is different from the one listed on their ZoomInfo profile, which lists them as operating out of 200 S Biscayne Blvd Ste 433, Miami, Florida, 33131, United States
