The scammers sent us a fraudulent letter similar to the one pictured above, falsely claiming our property’s “home warranty” may be “expiring or have already expired,” urging us to call their toll-free number. While their agents answer as the “Home Warranty Division,” their automated system reveals the true identity of their company as the “Guardian Protection Group,” which falsely claims to operate from a PO box in St Peters, Missouri.
User complaints on their BBB listing indicate patterns of fraudulent activity, such as:
- Sending fraudulent mailers falsely claiming the recipients’ home warranty expired, despite never signing up for one.
- Sending fraudulent mailers falsely claiming the recipient’s car warranty expired.
