Alright so recently there has been a scam going around involving fake game recorders that are presented as offering a to sponsor YouTubers. This scam has resulted in a ton of people getting their YouTube channels hacked and sold on a black market for basically anyone to do anything with. The subsequent hacks have also resulted in some of these individuals having their channels terminated as well as losing mass amounts of subs due to confusion and the fact some of the compromised channels where mass uploaded videos flooding subscribers sub feed.

The scam works by emailing YouTubers and asking them to review a supposed game recording software. Usually done from a throw away gmail account. They say they will pay the YouTuber to do a review of it and send them a link to their website and tell them to install their program. The program itself doesnt do anything other then upload your login credentials saved on your computer to a VPS. It also is able to circumvent 2FA.

Nexzzy and Trahony are both sites that are exactly the same. However, they ripped the the source code from another legit website called FBX (https://fbx.gg/). They used a program called HTTrack to do it. You can see it in the source code of both the scam sites.

I've been trying to shut down their file hosts, but every time I get one shut down they come back one a new one in about 20 minutes. The FBX team said they've been trying to get it de-indexed from Google. This is damaging to the FBX brand and I feel kinda bad for them that they just had their content ripped to be used in a scam.

@grabscammersip#125262 Yeah I saw Muda’s video first. Thats how I first learned about it . Anyways I was able to examine the program on my VM and the program does in fact send your login to a VPS server. I tried contacting the VPS provider, but they wanted unedited logs of the abuse before they would open an investigation.

Hi, I’m YouTube and I have a channel of 400,000 subscribers, recently these emails have arrived a lot. My advice if you are a YouTube only has games that are verified on google.
