Textnow "We Value Your Privacy" Message Won't Go Away

Hello,
I’ve been using Textnow for quite a while now. I didn’t really scambait for some time, because I was quite busy lately. Today, I logged in to my Textnow account, and everything was fine until this “We Value Your Privacy” message appeared.


However, when I clicked on “AGREE”, the message just didn’t go away. It just kept endlessly loading…

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there any possible solution?
Also, I cleaned all of my browser data and cookies.

The first thing I would try is disabling my adblocker. Adblocker could be the problem, so toggle it off and try again. If that doesn’t work, try changing your browser, or opening up an Incognito tab.

I just signed up to TextNow on OperaGX with the internal adblocker toggled off and it’s working as usual, so I think it’s just you experiencing this.

Hi, thanks for the response. I am using Google Chrome to access Textnow, and I don’t have any extensions on Google Chrome. I always had problems like this one with textnow, because I am not in the United States, so it is not working as intended sometimes… I will try to use a VPN and see if it does anything.

I’m also not from USA and TextNow works normally for me even without a VPN. Definitely try, you have nothing to lose.

DON’T! They have a ridiculously Strict NO-VPN Policy. If they catch you using a VPN IP, they’ll ban your account. Talking from experience.

Actually, that’s what just happened… Thankfully, I made a new account, so there was nothing to lose. It’s pretty annoying indeed. Like, I was on a call with a scammer for 20 minutes, and all of a sudden I’m logged out and it says that my account was suspended. And again, I didn’t lose anything, because I just made a new account (thankfully) but I’ll be aware of this in the future. It’s really ridiculously strict, I didn’t even get a warning or anything, I just got logged out and then my account was banned… But again, it was a new account, so I didn’t lose anything, thankfully.

I use the Textnow Android app with the TorGuard VPN
I never had an issue… yet.

Yeah, I mean that’s what it says, it asks me to accept cookies but it keeps endlessly loading… May I ask what extension did you install?

Concur! Clean out your browser cache & history to begin with (I do this after every session).

I’ve already done that… I even switched browsers, but it changed nothing.
