I got a callback from, 419-359-0446, English speaking or British accent scammers. New callback from 217-939-3198
Yes. These are very dangerous scammers who attempt to wipe out people’s Coinbase accounts. Sounds like they are indeed in the UK.
Kept them on for 22 minutes last time.
The guy who closes after the first guy transfers you gets insanely angry. He claims he’s going to send the police to my door for wasting his time. I’ve called him about 4 times so far.
They will end the call depending of your voice, so had to deepen my voice to get though the call.
Make sure you can convert the dollar amount you gave him for your balance to whatever it’s worth in bitcoin or whatever crypto you mentioned. He’ll ask you if he’s catching on that’s it’s bullshit
Part of the reason why there is so much confusion about whether these guys are in UK, India, Nigeria, or UAE is because they are.
There’s a central group setting up the VoIP accounts, but they are doing a bunch of different things and different people in different countries are assigned their own DIDs.
I’ve got British sounding people who switch to fluent Dutch, plus others speaking Spanish, French, and German, some who are definitely from Nigeria, and then some DIDs in Hungary I couldn’t get anyone to pick up.
Also, they may be swiching to saying they are from Gemini now.
The text I received was…unfortunately….sent to my real cell number. It’s an iPhone…so I’m able to tell that it also came from an iPhone. But the number it was sent from is “not reachable”.

Recently I capture two IPs. One Sheffield in UK and the second Lagos Nigeria.

Yep Doc, I had an IP capture from the Brent area of London a while back that verified the England area.
