Scammer Identity: “Ella Chan, a 34-year-old single female from Boston”

- Device: Windows 10 PC with Intel HD Graphics 630.
- Browser: Microsoft Edge.
The scammer will send fraudulent messages to users via Telegram. Once accepted, they will introduce themselves as “Ella Chan” and ask if you’re “Rick.”
She will then apologize for her mistake, continue speaking with me in broken English, claim to be from Boston and ask where I live and if I wanna be friends with her.
She will then claim to be a single 34-year-old and ask for my name, age and a photo of myself. I never sent a photo, but rather a Grabify link to theannoyingsite.com, which revealed to me that the scammer hails from Bangkok, Thailand.
Our conversation ended once I called her out.
