It was short - sorry. I described one of those pop-ups and he asked me if I had anti-virus. I told him I had Avast and he said to run a system scan with that and it would take care of the problem. I should call back if I have any other problems. He even said it was unlikely I downloaded a virus. Instead, I probably just landed on a malicious website by mistake. Never asked to connect - very weird.
This number has been around since 09/2017, if not earlier.
