I told him I had a pop-up from Microsoft saying that my computer is blocked. (Nothing to do with cameras, just to see)
He said “Don’t touch your computer, I’ll have a technician call you back to fix that problem.”
I’m waiting for a callback now.
He called me back and I told him I had a Windows security alert, saying this computer has been blocked. I told him the phone number on it is disconnected. He told me this is a “very serious issue” and had me connect with ultra viewer. He wanted to charge my $299 to fix the fake pop-up and said I needed to buy additional software to keep this from happening again.
Scamming for over four years.
