So this is a new one for me. This is a TextNow number but I 100% confirmed it’s a tech support scam by leading him through the usual; “I got a pop-up that says I need to call you.” gimmick. When he answers, he’s got hold music (which is a simple app) and I can hear others in the background.
I seriously think it's a bunch of smelly madarchods in a hut somewhere, everyone with their own ad number and textnow on a phone and fielding their own individual lines, it's hilariously rickshaw. He said his name is "Damien".
