Some scammers call and claim to be computer techs associated with well-known companies like Microsoft or Apple. Other scammers send pop-up messages that warn about computer problems. They say they’ve detected viruses or other malware on your computer. They claim to be “tech support” and will ask you to give them remote access to your computer. Eventually, they’ll diagnose a non-existent problem and ask you to pay for unnecessary – or even harmful – services.
If you get an unexpected pop-up, call, spam email or other urgent message about problems with your computer, stop. Don’t click on any links, don’t give control of your computer and don’t send any money.
They’re still up. The guy told me if I know they’re stealing money from people, why do I try to get support from them? Then called me MF’er over and over and told me what he’d do to my mother. It was like playing call of duty but over the phone. They’re triggered Keep it up! I could easily get them on my VM. Just don’t say “popup” right away. Say your screen is frozen with a number to call or something similar.
I just revealed after 30 minutes… the scammer had never seen “technical support scam” on wikipedia before… he apparently is going to call me back after some time.
I called the 9186 number and flat out asked “what is your company name?”. The guy said we arent affiliated with any computer company. I said no, what is the name of your company? He replied back with Technocare Technologies.

Google of Fisherlife brings up an antivirus company call Bulwark, one I've never heard of before. Looking deeper, its a rebrand/white label application. SupportBuddy, Revwiretech Inc., ShieldApps (main component) are the main companies behind the binaries.
@Sami444#29074 I typically waste their time searching for one with a generic name. If that fails, I’ll either become “angry” and insist that I get the call escalated or I simply push to have them fix my VM. The goal is to drag out the call as long as possible.
Phone -9186: This scammer is from north India. They have at least two call centers. One in Noida and the other in Dehradun, India.
This website is theirs but that is to mislead the caller: technocare.technology

@RamanRoy#29065 8582843648 these guys are defintly scammers but there number doesn’t always work. Sometimes they are debt collection scammers maybe you guys can look into this?
Just trolled the 9186 INTENSELY saying I was officer Derek Severn from the online fraud investigation unit and I was conducting an investigation on this number because there were many reports of online fraud. I told them I needed their exact location and I had conflicting data as I had traced their signal to India but they had previously mentioned that they were located in Manhattan. I said I needed to serve them an interpol warrant and they needed to take down the case number. They refused and hung up.
I could not reach them after that... Did I scare them? Or was it simply closing time?
