Tech Support Scammers Not Picking Up

I’ve had this problem where any tech support scammer I call doesn’t pick up until the phone stops trying to connect. I am fairly sure this has nothing to do with me being blocked because I have tried this with 4 seperate phones, each having a different phone number. These phones include a cell phone, two separate softphones, and a landline phone. Because of how many phones I have tried, I am fairly certain that this is also not a problem with the phones themselves. If anybody else has had this problem, and/or has a solution, please let me know.

generally this tends to happen when they are being spammed with calls. I would not recommend calling them with a real phone, I would personally recommend FireRTC, TextNow, or Google Hangouts. Some numbers tend to be down and don’t work well most of the time.

I have used both FireRTC and TextNow, as well as Google Hangouts (although google hangouts was connected via a real phone). Anyway, thanks for clearing this up for me.

By the way, do you know how to use Google Hangouts as a proper softphone (not having to use a real phone number)?

@JohnGolferd#67836 To be quite honest, no, I do not. You can also just make google accounts with almost no effort so changing accounts isn’t too hard.

Nevermind, I got the last part about Google Hangouts figured out.
