Fake FTC Officer: “Daniel Edgeworth”
Callback number: (315) 644-6401
Falsely Claims:

  • $789.45 pre-authorized charge for child porn subscription at 4:11AM yesterday.
  • $1,639.81 pre-authorized charge for online gambling on poker.com 4:14AM yesterday.

Once remotely connected to my virtual machine, the incredibly-deaf bhenchod asked me to run the “netstat” command in the Command Prompt so he can falsely claim there were “foreign hackers” on my IP address, then a “final scan” with the “dir/s” command.

  • Once the “scan” is complete, the bhenchod falsely claimed my computer was infected by the “tiny banker trojan virus” to purchase child porn on the dark web.
  • I was then asked to provide the phone number of my fake bank before he falsely claimed to be writing an email to “the higher authorities” and berated me for “yelling” when I was using my normal speaking voice.
  • The call was then transferred to “Daniel Edgeworth” from their “FTC Department” who falsely claimed there was an additional charge for online gambling and asked me to enter a “non-disclosure agreement” and create a “digital wallet” using my driver’s license, Social Security Number and the funds from my bank account.
