I faked the ConnectWise download not working, prompting the bhenchod to hang up and ask me to call the “Senior Security Officer” on her personal TextNow line (234) 243-3993.
- I was then asked to download UltraViewer. Once she remotely connected to my virtual machine, she asked me to download ConnectWise from yqhelp.top, which I refused, and falsely claimed there were multiple foreign IP addresses on my network.
- I was then asked to run the “netstat” command before being asked to hang up once more to call her “senior officer,” though I never got their number.
