Wasted 30 min of the technician, uses manage-bde aka bitlockers cmd tool to show that “protection is off” and “IP is not encrypted”, interesting tactics. Persuaded me into getting their 5-year plan instead of the 3-year one. Should have gotten connected to their “billing manager”, got connected to their “security head”, told me to get my checkbook ready. I asked to use my (fake) bank, and upon seeing my balance they tried milking me out of everything - counted 189.99 per device in the house, got 999.99 for some anti id theft system, etc. Wasted another 30 min supplying them with bogus check details. Fun.
