The first scammer hung up due to a shitty line. The 2nd scammer hung up instead of putting me on hold. The 3rd scammer, “Steven Williams,” claimed an “attempt of hacking” took place within the past 48 hours, prompting me to bait via Virtual Machine.
- “Steven” had me install “Microsoft Temporary Securities” by connecting to the “Microsoft Security Server” via Alpemix, then UltraViewer.
- After remotely connecting to my computer, “Steven” had me run the Command Prompt to use the netstat and “tree” commands, where they claimed to have removed “4 of the 9 hackers.”
- To deal with the remaining “5 hackers,” “Steven” transferred my call to “Stephen Hiller” from the “Anti-Hacking Department Team,” who claimed that they will monitor my network for the next 24 hours and called me from his direct-line number, (206) 821-3445, which is carried via Onvoy.
- “Stephen” never charged me for their “service,” instead opting to call me back on Monday.
