It doesn’t really matter, if the number is down you cannot do anything.

They may still make a new number and put it on a website. Also, I always wonder why they have to host the site on a paid provider - I analyzed these sites and they are always plain HTML, CSS, and JS - meaning that they can be simply hosted for free on Netlify, Vercel, and other JamStack hosting or static hosting providers.

They pay because they may not know how to host it in other ways, and they also don’t want it taken down as easily. I have seen some scammers use free hosting providers, however.
