@JusticeinTexas#138397 Yup… refund scam. First guy I spoke with said it was regarding some security software that I had purchased from his company. I asked him the name of the company and he hung up! Second guy went a bit further and told me he was Microsoft and it was Microsoft security and internet software that was on my computer. I said, “Oh, you mean on the IBM System/3 (a triple refrigerator sized computer from the 1960’s) that handles our inbound traffic?”. He said “yes sir, that is the one”. I asked what Microsoft had to do with that and he hung up. Bastards. Further calls only resulted in nasty language being thrown about.
@Otis#138401 HAHA! I tell them I have a Data General from the 70’s. Floppy disks that weight like 30 pounds. They always say yes that is the one.
