I just came accross an email from these scammer who were offering me the refund of the payment i made recently to my computer tech guy online. Below is the body of the email and a number to call them. ---------------------------------------
"Dear Customer,
We are your computer protection company and we wishe to inform you that we are cancelling your subscription which was provided to you recently, as because our server has been corrupted, so we will not be able to provide the services on your computer any further so we will be refunding the money back to all our customers and removing the corrupted services from your computer or else your computer might get corrupted due to the corrupted server.
In order to get back your refund and protect your computer from getting corrupted you need to call us on:

N OTE: PLEASE DO NOT ENTERTAIN ANY CALLS FROM ANY UNKNOWN NUMBER AND DIRECTLY GIVE US A CALL. IT IS ADVISED TO CALL US AS SOON AS YOU SEE THIS E-MAIL SO THAT WE CAN TAKE OF THE CORRUPTED SERVICES FROM YOUR COMPUTER AND PROTECT YOUR COMPUTER FROM GETTING CORRUPTED.

When i called them they asked for my remote access to refund and asked me to open bank account and showed me that they transfered $4000 instead of $400. (They changed values using source code of the page in chrome, by blacking out my screen). LOL....they though they are smart. Then they asked be to go and buy a google gift card worth $3600 so they can get back the excess amount they refunded. Ha ha ha...
