HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer will claim an “attempt of hacking” took place within the past 48 hours, prompting you to “connect to the Microsoft Secure Network” by running Support.Me (Code: 561590). This remote connection failed, so I was asked to throw my computer out of the window.
- I then spoke with a separate bhenchod, who hung up on me and blocked my number.
