DIPVTEL, baiting with virtual machine
HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer blocked my Google Voice line, so I called from my TextNow line and he had me open QuickAssist (Code: R71SJT, name: Alan P.).
- As the popup broke, I claimed the browser crashed as he remotely connected to my virtual machine. Despite this, “Alan” wanted to look at the error by having me open my browser and go through the history, so I kept closing it on him and claiming that it was the browser crashing.
- “Alan” blocked my number
