HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer,. “Nick,” will answer as “Suppoat” but will hang up if you ask them what company he provides “suppoat” for.
- I called the number back and “John” answered as “Microsoft” before falsely claiming an “attempt of hacking” took place within the past 48 hours and asking me to “connect with Microsoft Secured Servers Online” by throwing my computer out the window.
- Calling the number back will now present an instant hang.
