HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- The scammer, “Kris,” will claim your network was infected with a “trojan spyware,” prompting you to install “Microsoft Temporary Securities” by downloading UltraViewer (ID: 69992897)
- Once “Kris” remotely connects to your computer, she will have you run the “netstat” command in the Command Prompt to claim that 7 “hackers” are active on your network and that the “hackers” are actively listening to your conversations.
- “Kris” then had me run the “dir/s” command, where they will claim Russian hackers used your banking information to ILLEGALLY DOWNLOAD CHILD PORN FROM PORNHUB!

Gee whiz, that’s a lot of hackers. Is that 28 decimal or 28 hexadecimal? With so many hackers on one device do their hashes start colliding in the IP address of the secure server, I wonder?
