Saying Apple & Microsoft are the same company is ridiculous. I hope potential victims pick up on that.
Called me from a Jamaican number 876=676-8002. Said he was in Redmond WA and I asked about the terrible F5 tornado that went through there last night. They fall for it every time.
Jamaican scammers are pretending to be Microsoft and Apple now?
They use what ever number they can get a discount on, preferably one that starts with an “8”.
I was under the impression that the 876 numbers were all Jamaican scammers.
Could also be spoofed, depends on whether you can call it back.
True, I didn’t think about that. I never call back the Jamaican scammers who call me with an 876 number because I know it will be an expensive call.
