HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:

  • The scammer, “Adam,” will ask for my name and email address before transferring my call to “Daniel.”
  • “Daniel” had me hold down the ESC key for 5 seconds, “open the Microsoft Edge” and go to 671.is (Code: 356203284, IP: 139.84.132.20 :india: ) to download RemotePC HelpDesk.
  • Once the scammer remotely connects to your computer, they will run msinfo36 and hung up, so I finished him off with the bhenchod song.

The IP address also hosts www.passwords.waredot.com/login, which is registered by Minds Insider Ltd., in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria via NameCheap on December 10, 2020 (Updated November 16, 2023) - Whois waredot.com
