HIGHLIGHTS FROM VIRTUAL MACHINE BAIT:
- Scammer will have you install “free securities” on your device by opening task manager and QuickAssist (Code: PF9Y4M, Name: “Jane H.”). Once they remotely connect to your computer, they will install UltraViewer (ID: 21572768) under the guise of “connecting to the Microsoft Network.”
- Once the scammer remotely connects to your computer via *UltraViewer," they will have you open the Command Prompt and run the “netstat” and “dir/s” commands so they can claim foreign hackers used your network to make an “illegal visit” to PornHub.
- It was at this point the scammer hung up on me, as their number was suspended for benchode activity.
